Continuing to share my January trip, Okayama Castle and Korakuen Garden are must-visit attractions.
After leaving Okayama Castle, I crossed Tsukimi Bridge to reach Korakuen Garden.
From Tsukimi Bridge, you can enjoy a distant view of Okayama Castle.
You can take a peach-shaped boat or a swan boat on the Asahi River near Okayama Castle.
Korakuen Garden is one of the top attractions.
Covering an area of approximately 13 hectares, I only explored a small part of Korakuen Garden that day.
I hope to visit again someday to see the lush greenery of Korakuen Garden.
I climbed the artificial hill "Yuishinzan" within the garden to get a panoramic view of Korakuen Garden.
I took a photo with a bamboo grove as the backdrop, and I really love the golden hues in the picture.
From within Korakuen Garden, you can see the castle, and I took quite a few photos.
While waiting for the bus back to Okayama Station, I noticed the unique mailbox next to the bus stop.
