Okayama Korakuen is truly one of the most beautiful Japanese gardens we’ve visited. Just a short walk from Okayama Castle, the garden offers a picturesque setting that’s perfect for photography, with the castle itself acting as a stunning backdrop from various angles.

The entire garden is immaculately maintained, with wide open lawns, gently winding paths, and traditional teahouses. A large pond sits at the heart of the garden, reflecting the sky and surrounding trees, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. We took a slow, leisurely stroll and enjoyed the serenity and charm of the place—it felt like stepping into a classic painting.
