Okayama Korakuen is a beautiful and unpopular tourist attraction with few tourists. It was originally one of the three famous gardens in Japan and was rated as a three-star attraction in the Japanese Michelin Green Guide.
Enyo-tei is an important building in Korakuen and was the residence of the Okayama domain lord when he visited the garden.
The wide lawn allows visitors to have a panoramic view at a glance. This simplicity and plainness can make people feel calm and open-minded.
The winding waterways in the garden are sometimes gurgling streams and sometimes wide rivers. Combined with the winding paths and lush green lawns, they present a unique beauty.
Minoshima, Nakanoshima and Sarishima in Sawanoike each have their own characteristics, and Mt. Weishin gives the plain Korakuen a sense of three-dimensionality. The koi fish in front of Lianchixuan add a touch of elegance.
