◼ ︎Bicchu Matsuyama Castle
Bicchu Matsuyama Castle, a nationally designated important cultural property, is one of the "12 remaining castle towers" and the only mountain castle with a surviving castle tower.
As a mountain castle, it is characterized by a steep mountain path that makes it difficult to climb.
It is also one of Japan's three great castles in the sky.

An ancient mountain castle that is said to have been built by the Yamato Imperial Court for the defense of the country.
Kinojo Castle is not recorded in any history books, and its history has not been clarified.

The symbol of Tsuyama City, selected as one of Japan's 100 Most Famous Castles and Japan's 100 Most Famous Cherry Blossom Sites.
The castle was built by Mori Tadamasa, the younger brother of Mori Ranmaru, who was killed in the Honnoji Incident.
