Okinawa Southern Lights

Located in the Southeast Botanical Gardens in the central part of Okinawa's main island, the Okinawa Southern Lights event features a theme of 'A Sparkling Tropical Flower Paradise.' Utilizing over 4 million lights, the event creates illuminations inspired by the garden's unique palm trees, hibiscus, jade vine, and more. Highlights include a light display recreating the lotus pond that blooms from June to August, a 10-meter-tall 'City of Light Life Waterfall,' and a new area inspired by the Okinawan sea featuring a massive 20-meter-long whale shark light display.
