Hulunbuir Travel Guide | This is all you need

| This is all you need. Summer vacation is coming, are you starting to get that travel itch again? 💗 Today, I'm sharing a super detailed Hulunbuir travel guide. Whether you're traveling with family, your partner, or friends, you'll find your own kind of fun here~

🎈Best Time to Travel

• June–August: The golden season for the grasslands. Lush greenery, blooming wildflowers, and pleasant temperatures make it perfect for outdoor activities and photos. Plus, there are all sorts of lively folk activities during this time, like the Nadam Fair, where you can fully experience the warmth and boldness of Mongolian culture 🔥

• September: Autumn in Hulunbuir is like a fairy tale. Golden birch forests contrast beautifully with the clear blue sky. Driving on the roads feels like being in a painting 🖼️

Must-See Attractions

1. Morigele River: Described by Lao She as the "most beautiful winding river in the world," its meandering path resembles a silk ribbon draped across the grassland. The aerial view is absolutely stunning 📸

2. Erguna Wetland: The largest wetland in Asia, its scenery changes with the seasons. Lush green in summer, a riot of color in autumn. From the viewing platform, you can take in the entire wetland's beauty.

3. Aoluguya Reindeer Park: Get up close and personal with adorable reindeer, feed them moss, and enjoy a heartwarming interaction with these spirits of the forest. It's incredibly therapeutic 🦌

4. Manzhouli: A border town full of exotic charm, with Russian architecture everywhere. At night, Matryoshka Square and Beihushuyuan Park are brilliantly lit, making you feel like you're in a European town. Don't forget to check out the iconic Matryoshka Hotel 🏨

5. Heishantou: The perfect spot to watch the sunset. Gallop across the grasslands on horseback, feeling the wind in your hair, and wait for the sky to turn orange-red as the sun sets. It's breathtakingly beautiful 🌇

🚗Transportation

1. Airplane: Fly directly to Hailar Dongshan International Airport. Many cities have direct flights, making it very convenient.

2. Train: If you have plenty of time, you can also take the train and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. However, tickets can be tight during peak season, so remember to book in advance~

3. Chartered Car/Self-Drive: Hulunbuir is vast, and the attractions are far apart. Chartering a car or driving yourself is the best way to travel, allowing you to customize your itinerary and stop to admire the roadside scenery at any time. However, if you're driving, pay attention to road conditions, especially on the grasslands, where some roads may be rough.

🍱Food Recommendations

1. Roasted Whole Lamb: A traditional Mongolian delicacy for honored guests. The skin is golden and crispy, and the meat is tender and juicy. Be sure to book in advance, as there's also a lively lamb-opening ceremony 🎉

2. Hand-Grabbed Mutton: Enjoyed with chive flower sauce or garlic vinegar sauce. Authentic and incredibly satisfying!

3. Mongolian Hot Pot: Made with fresh local lamb, the meat is delicious and not at all gamey. Paired with sesame sauce, each bite is pure bliss 🥘

4. Russian Cuisine: Don't miss authentic Russian food in Manzhouli. Borscht, beef stew, and rye bread are all unforgettable.

❗Travel Tips

1. The UV rays are strong on the grasslands, so be sure to take sun protection measures. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are essential.

2. There's a large temperature difference between day and night, so remember to bring warm clothes so you won't be cold while stargazing at night ✨

3. When horseback riding, follow the instructor's guidance. Don't wear skirts or high heels, and be mindful of safety.

4. Check the ticket prices and opening hours of each attraction in advance to avoid delays.

Alright, that's my Hulunbuir travel guide. I hope it's helpful 💖 Pack your bags and embark on a spontaneous grassland adventure~
