Oman Tourism: Mosque and Supermarket Tour

I'm going to write about Oman, which was my favorite country in the Middle East.

I got interested in it because I heard someone from my company say it was a wonderful country.

And to my delight, a classmate at my study abroad destination was from Oman, and he told me about various useful apps and tourist spots. Off to Oman.

This time, I was on a whirlwind trip again. I only had one day lol.

I stayed at the Hilton. Hotels are cheap in Oman, and it was a bargain at 7,000 yen for two people. I arrived at night, so I took a rest and started moving the next day.

First of all, I went for a walk around the supermarket, which is essential when you're abroad.

The department stores were very modern, and the selection was better than in Japan, right? They were so clean that I thought, "Aren't they too beautiful?"

Oman, Abu Dhabi, Dubai. I was surprised at how developed the Middle Eastern countries I visited were.

The packaging was in Arabic, and it was cute and mysterious, which made me excited.

After buying souvenirs for work and family here, we went sightseeing.

We went to Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque🕌. A mosque nine times the size of the Tokyo Dome.

However, it closes at 11pm so we couldn't go inside and just looked at it from the outside. We were really shocked and told our friends that we'll definitely come again.

A really beautiful mosque that can be seen even from the outside.
It's big and has beautiful colors, and we enjoyed the atmosphere while strolling around the garden.
