Overview
Itsukushima Shrine, located on Miyajima in Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, is famous as one of the Three Most Scenic Views of Japan, and is also known as "Aki no Miyajima." The large vermilion-painted torii gate floating on the sea is breathtakingly beautiful and is registered as a World Heritage Site.
