Recommended Cherry Blossom Spot: Miyajima Itsukushima Shrine

Drawn by the pleasant spring weather, I visited Itsukushima Shrine for the first time. The vermilion torii gate floating on the tranquil sea is breathtakingly beautiful.

The changing appearance of the gate with the ebb and flow of the tide is mesmerizing, and I could watch it for hours without getting bored.

Within the shrine grounds, spring flowers have begun to bloom, and the gentle sunlight combined with the soothing sea breeze quietly eased my travel fatigue. This sacred place, where history and nature coexist, offers a serene moment to feel the arrival of spring.

Just a step into a back alley reveals a quiet, peaceful area with no crowds.

The scenery I had only seen in photos unfolded before my eyes, and the experience was truly special. It's a place I definitely want to visit again.
