3 minutes walk from Namba Station on the Midosuji subway line. Tendon Tenya, a tendon and tempura specialty store that operates mainly in eastern Japan, opened in Namba Sennichimae on August 7th.
　　
As a pioneer of Japanese fast food, this popular chain store offers high-quality tendon and tempura at reasonable prices.

To commemorate the opening, a local menu using Kansai ingredients, "Kamigata Tendon 980 yen," will be sold from August 21st to September 17th. This is a limited edition item at Tenya Namba Sennichimae. I got to try it early.

A satisfying tempura bowl made with ingredients with ties to the Kansai region. The light batter is crispy and allows you to fully enjoy the flavor of the ingredients. The delicious sweet and spicy sauce covers the rice.

Among them, the Senshu water eggplant is exquisite, with its juicy flavor spreading in your mouth when you bite into it. When the Nankou plum is deep-fried, the sweetness and flavor are concentrated and the oil in the batter enhances its deliciousness. The appeal of each ingredient is the exquisite flavor that spreads in your mouth with every bite.

You can choose small soba or small udon. This soba has an excellent aroma, taste, and firmness. It goes down smoothly and the soba soup is well mixed in, making it the most delicious. You should be really hungry when you want to eat soba.
　　
The Namba Midosuji store was previously located near Namba, but it closed in February 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It has reopened in Namba after two and a half years.
　　
From August 14th (Mon) to August 20th (Sun), it is the monthly Ten-ya week, where you can buy takeout "Jyo Tendon Bento 680 yen → 500 yen".
　　
You can enjoy draft beer with tempura, or just have a casual drink. It is recommended when you want to eat tendon.
