In the bustling city of Osaka, Namba Yasaka Shrine is like a shining pearl, quietly telling its historical story. For this trip, I chose to take the subway to Namba Station and then walk for about 21 minutes. Along the way, I felt the hustle and bustle of Osaka and was full of anticipation for the shrine I was about to visit.
When I walked into Namba Yasaka Shrine, the scene in front of me stunned me! The 12-meter-tall lion head opens its mouth to reveal its golden teeth, as if telling every pilgrim: This is a holy place that drives away bad luck and brings good fortune. This majesty and momentum moved me to tears. The history of the shrine can be traced back more than 1,500 years. Such cultural heritage made me deeply feel the power of Japanese tradition and belief.
Here, I stand quietly, and the people coming and going around me seem to have nothing to do with me. Every worshipper has different wishes, whether it is for academic progress or career success. This pious atmosphere fills my heart with warmth. The shrine is open from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. During this time, whether it is the tranquility in the morning light or the softness in the evening, it adds a mysterious charm to this place.
I walked in the shrine, feeling the quiet power, and silently made a wish in my heart. This is not only a tourist attraction, but also a spiritual haven. Whenever I think of that huge lion head, my heart is filled with strength and hope💖. Such a beautiful shrine makes me want to share this feeling and bring all my friends to experience it together.
Namba Yasaka Shrine, a place that combines history and soul, will always remain in my heart and become the most precious memory of my journey. No matter what the future holds, I will continue to move forward with this feeling.
