In addition, the area outside the mint is also one of Osaka’s large and famous cherry blossom viewing spots. Here, 140 varieties of cherry trees are planted along the river, each with its variety name and origin displayed.

To view the cherry blossoms at the Osaka Mint, visitors must register in advance online (first come, first served). Registration opens from March 17 onward. If you are interested in seeing the cherry blossoms here, don’t forget to check the details and register in advance.
