🍜✨ Osaka… this city is so cute it melts your heart 🏯🎌
This trip was another dream come true for me~
Because I got to visit "Osaka," a city full of charming cuteness
with its atmosphere, culture, people, and food!
Especially if you're a bit of a Japan fan or love the adorable mix of traditional and modern in the city,
this trip is just "too cute to handle!!"
🛬 Starting from Kansai Airport (KIX), after passing immigration, I stepped out to breathe in the full Japanese air~ It was so cool and comfortable, the feeling made me want to shout, "Osakaaa, how is it so adorably cold?" ☁️
🚄 I took the Nankai train to Namba, which took about 45 minutes. As soon as I arrived at the station, I immediately felt that this city is lively, walkable, and cool
but gentle (I don’t know how to explain 555 but that’s really how it felt). Then I checked into a small, cozy hotel in the city center, ready to start my Cute Cute sightseeing mission~
🎡 Day 1 – Exploring Dotonbori 🍡
The highlight of the first day was nothing more than the "Glico Sign," which everyone must take a photo with! Next to it is the Dotonbori Canal,
where boats cruise along. The evening atmosphere is super romantic~ perfect for couples or solo travelers feeling a bit lonely like me (still good though, sob~) 😂
I walked to eat the famous takoyaki with a super long line, but standing and eating on the street made me feel like "I’m really in Japan nowww" so delicious 🐙
💡 Little tip: Don’t miss Pablo’s cheese tart in Namba. The cheese is so rich! It melts in your mouth like first love 🍰
🎠 Day 2 – Going to Universal Studios Japan! 🎢
Woke up early to avoid long lines at USJ. This place is a dream heaven for little girls, especially the Harry Potter zone where I stood in front of "Hogwarts Castle" with tears in my eyes 🧙♀️🍂 It felt like a dream, everyone!!
Recommended rides:
• Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey: feels like flying on a broomstick through scenes from the movie!
• The Flying Dinosaur (I screamed until I lost my voice but it was so much fun!!)
• Super Nintendo World: oh, Mario’s line was super long but it was amazing 🍄
The food in the park was also super cute, with Mario burgers,
Princess Peach bento boxes, and cold drinks with flower-shaped straws~
I took so many photos that my battery drained a lot 💖📱
🏮 Day 3 – Chilling in Shinsekai & Tsutenkaku Tower 🌟
A bit of a retro Japanese vibe, this area is full of lanterns,
shops selling knick-knacks, and traditional Japanese food. I tried Kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers), which was crispy and delicious. Don’t double-dip the sauce with others! That’s their etiquette~
I also went up Tsutenkaku Tower, enjoying a 360-degree view of Osaka. The sky was clear, the view was great, and the photos looked like postcards 💌
🐙 Day 4 – Kuromon Market & Shopping in Shinsaibashi 👗
In the morning, I went to Kuromon Market~ The seafood was super fresh,
sashimi almost melted in my mouth. Eating rice topped with salmon roe was out of this world 🪐
In the afternoon, I shopped in Shinsaibashi, a shopping district with brand-name stores, cute shops, and 100-yen stores. Fashion lovers, knick-knack fans, and shoppers will definitely love it here~ I walked around so happily
📷 Cute photo spots:
• Street art walls between coffee shops
• Gachapon machines in front of Donki
• Neon signs at night in Dotonbori
🎌 Day 5 – Visiting Shitenno-ji Temple & Tennoji Park 🌸
On the last day, I chose a peaceful trip,
visiting Shitenno-ji Temple, an ancient temple with a very calming and cute atmosphere (is that even possible? But it really is!) 🕊️
Then I walked to Tennoji Park, which has a pond, wooden bridges, and cute Japanese cats that came close for head pats 🐾
🥹 Feelings after this trip:
Osaka is not just a city for shopping or amusement parks,
but a city that perfectly balances everything~ food, people, nature,
old and new coexist so adorably!
It’s a city that makes you feel "I want to come back" from day one 💘
⸻
📌 Final little tips:
• Buy a JR Pass or Osaka Amazing Pass for great value if you’re staying multiple days
• Carry cash for small shops that may not accept cards
• Practice saying “Arigatou” and “Kawaii” to use often 😝
