Let's travel to Osaka

Review of traveling to Osaka, Japan
The city of happiness and delight that everyone should try at least once 💖

Hello everyone! Today, I’m going to take you on a tour of Osaka,
a city full of brightness, charm, and incredibly delicious food that makes you want to move here for real 💕 Boom had the chance to visit Osaka last summer, so I want to share my experience and the joy with all of you.

Day 1: Arriving at Kansai Airport, Osaka welcomes you with a smile

Landing at Kansai Airport, I immediately felt, “This is the Osaka I’ve been waiting for!” The airport is spacious and very clean.
Plus, the train system into the city is super convenient. I bought an ICOCA card to use right away—easy to pay and usable on trains and buses in the city.

Once in the city, I started by strolling around the Namba area.
This place is truly a paradise for those who love shopping and eating. Beautiful shops,
ranging from famous brands to street stalls, with lively crowds and the aroma of food that whets your appetite perfectly.

Boom tried takoyaki—round, hot balls filled with tender squid, fragrant with sweet sauce and mayonnaise. It was so smooth and delicious! The first bite brought pure happiness! I also tasted okonomiyaki, a Japanese pancake mixed with vegetables, pork, and a special sauce. It was so satisfying.

At night, walking around Dotonbori, I must say the neon lights are stunning. The red Glico Man sign is a must-photograph landmark of Osaka.

Day 2: Universal Studios Japan — a truly magical world!

Today, Boom was very excited to visit Universal Studios Japan (USJ), the largest and most fun amusement park in Osaka. It really feels like stepping into the world of movies.

Boom loved The Wizarding World of Harry Potter zone the most,
walking through Hogsmeade village, entering Hogwarts castle,
passing through the beautifully crafted torii gate, and of course, trying Butterbeer—a sweet drink topped with cream that’s fragrant and refreshing, making you want to drink several more glasses.

Besides that, Boom also enjoyed the Mario Kart ride in the Super Nintendo World zone, which is so vibrant and fun. The ride was thrilling, like reliving childhood again.

I recommend buying an Express Pass because it’s very crowded. Without it, you’ll have to wait a long time, which can be frustrating.

Day 3: Ultimate shopping spree at Shinsaibashi

For shopping lovers like Boom, Shinsaibashi is heaven. You can walk endlessly because there are so many shops, from famous brands, cosmetics, sweets, to cute cafes.

Boom loves browsing cute Japanese items, including adorable packaged snacks and souvenirs. There’s a famous soufflé pancake café with fluffy, soft pancakes topped with fruit sauce and whipped cream. The sweetness is just right, not overwhelming, and absolutely delightful.

The atmosphere is lively, with many Japanese and tourists walking around. It’s perfect for strolling, shopping, or just casually enjoying the city.

Day 4: Kyoto day trip near Osaka

Kyoto is a city as worth visiting as Osaka.
Boom chose to do a day trip, starting with Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, famous for its thousands of red torii gates.
Walking through the gates feels like stepping into a fairy tale world.

Next was the Gion district, known for its geisha culture.
Boom was lucky to see geishas in kimonos gracefully walking by.
So charming, it felt like traveling back in time to ancient days.

Day 5: Kuromon Ichiba Market — fresh and delicious food paradise

Kuromon Ichiba Market is truly a paradise for food lovers.
There’s a wide variety of fresh food, including butter-grilled scallops, tempura shrimp, sushi, and fresh fruits.

Walking and tasting along the way felt like experiencing the Japanese lifestyle up close, chatting with vendors, and savoring fresh, delicious food.

Day 6: Relaxing stroll at Namba Parks and souvenir shopping at Don Quijote

On the last day before leaving, Boom took a walk at Namba Parks,
a shopping mall with a beautiful rooftop garden, perfect for photos and relaxing.

Then continued to Don Quijote, a store that has everything!
Boom bought lots of cute souvenirs, including snacks, cosmetics, and Japanese memorabilia to take home.

Tips for enjoying Osaka to the fullest
• Buy an ICOCA or Suica card for convenient train and bus rides
• Wear comfortable shoes because you’ll walk a lot
• Download translation and navigation apps—they’re lifesavers
• Bring your own cloth bag because Japan rarely gives free plastic bags
• Try local foods like takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and fresh sushi here

Summary of impressions 💕

Osaka is a city full of happiness, fun, and deliciousness,
where Boom felt like visiting a warm and friendly friend’s home.

Every corner of this city is colorful and charming, making Boom want to come back soon.
If you haven’t been yet, don’t wait any longer.
Osaka is waiting for you to experience this joy!
