One of the most delightful surprises when traveling in Osaka is discovering hidden gourmet spots everywhere! This time, while strolling through Nakanoshima, I struck gold deep inside the library—Smørrebrød Kitchen Nakanoshima, a Nordic-style dining space so beautiful you can’t take your eyes off it!
As soon as you step inside, you’re surrounded by Danish design elements! Vintage wooden furniture, warm yellow lighting, and textured pottery blend together, complemented by natural light streaming through the windows, instantly transporting you to a 20th-century Nordic town. Every corner looks like a movie set, and every snap you take is full of atmosphere📸!
I originally just ordered casually but was amazed by the flavors! The grilled salmon has a golden crispy skin and tender, fresh inside, paired with a special sauce full of aroma; the beef toast is absolutely incredible, with thick-cut toast crispy on the outside and soft inside, topped with juicy tender beef—every bite is super satisfying~
After the meal, take a leisurely walk along the riverside path outside the library, watching the gently flowing river and feeling the breeze—it’s so relaxing you won’t want to leave! This place is not only a great spot to fill your stomach but also a secret base to relax your body and mind. Next time you come to Osaka, be sure to add this place to your must-visit list!
