🍡 Osaka… the city of smiles, deliciousness, and cuteness 💕
Konnichiwa~ We're in Japan again! This time, we're taking everyone to visit “Osaka,” a big city in the heart of Kansai filled with the aroma of takoyaki, laughter from Universal Studios Japan, and beautiful views from the top of Osaka Castle. This trip is a perfect mix of fun, kawaii, and overflowing happiness 💓
🌟 Day 1: Arrived in Osaka, yay! 🍱
As soon as we landed at Kansai Airport, our hearts were pounding~ We're finally in Osaka! We chose to take the Nankai Rapit train to the city because it’s very convenient and fast, plus the seats are spacious and super comfortable. After checking into our accommodation, we headed out immediately. First stop: Dotonbori, the lively district where you see iconic neon signs everywhere, especially the Glico sign 🕺 Took so many photos our memory card almost filled up!
The food here is the best!! We went all out with hot takoyaki filled with squid, topped with fragrant bonito flakes, followed by grilled cheese crab~ melting in the mouth. Dinner turned into a cute and delicious street buffet 🥰
🎡 Day 2: Universal Studios Japan (USJ) – The Magical World 🎢
Today was the day we’d been waiting for~ Off to USJ! We bought tickets in advance, so no long lines 🪄 As soon as we entered, we headed straight to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter 🧙♂️ Wow, the atmosphere really felt like stepping into a magical world. We strolled around Hogsmeade, sipped butterbeer, and rode the highlight, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, which was so fun and thrilling it took our breath away!
Other zones were just as amazing, like Minion Park with the adorable little minions~ and the newly opened Super Nintendo World!! Took photos with Mario, enjoyed the games, and brought back lots of souvenirs 🎮🎁
🌸 Day 3: Osaka Castle & Shopping at Shinsaibashi 🏯🛍️
Today we wanted to relax, so we started the day by admiring the beauty of Osaka Castle, grand and rich in history 💚 The white castle with green and gold roofs is stunning. The surrounding garden has a great atmosphere, perfect for walking, taking photos, and sipping coffee at a cute café 🐦🌳
In the afternoon, nothing beats shopping!! Next stop was Shinsaibashi, a super long shopping street with everything from cute Japanese brands, ZARA, GU, to Japanese cosmetics stores like Matsumoto Kiyoshi, where we bought masks by the box~ 💄🛍️ Our feet were sore from shopping, but our hearts were even fuller 🥹
🍜 Day 4: Ramen Tasting & Instant Ramen Museum 🍥
This morning, we craved something warm, so we went to Ichiran Ramen! The highlight was eating in individual booths (like taking a test, but a ramen test 🤣). The flavor was rich, noodles chewy and soft, and the broth intense—definitely a must-try!
Then we took the train to the Cup Noodles Museum in Ikeda, not far from Osaka. This place is the world of instant noodles where you can design your own cup noodles! Choose ingredients, decorate the cup, and take it home with a certificate of cuteness 😆
🧸 Day 5: Nara & Deer-chan 🦌
On the last day, we took a short trip to Nara, famous for its deer! It’s only about 45 minutes by train. Once there, we found deer roaming all over the park! We brought deer crackers (shika senbei) to feed them, and as soon as we got close, the little deer surrounded us 🥺 Some even bowed—so adorable!
Then we visited Todaiji Temple, home to a huge wooden Buddha statue. The temple offers a peaceful and heartwarming experience 🍃
🎀 Dream Osaka Trip Summary 💖
Osaka is a warm, bright city full of happiness in every detail—food, cafés, atmosphere, and people. Everything is so cute you won’t want to leave~ If you get the chance, I hope everyone can visit. You’ll definitely fall in love like I did 💌
