2025 Osaka Must-Try Donuts: We Love Donut by TAKAGI COFFEE

During this trip to Osaka, I accidentally discovered "We Love Donut by TAKAGI COFFEE" and was immediately drawn in by its charming, healing storefront and the aroma of its donuts. The shop is located in a corner of a department store, with pure white walls paired with handwritten-style signage—simple yet full of character. From the entrance, you can feel the full charm of the desserts.

As soon as you step inside, the first thing that catches your eye is the spectacular donut tower, stacked high with colorful donuts of various flavors, like a delicious art exhibition. This time, I tried three flavors: Matcha, OREO, and Pistachio.

First is the Matcha donut, generously drizzled with rich matcha sauce and sprinkled with finely crushed matcha powder. The aroma is strong but not bitter, and the sweetness is perfectly balanced. The OREO flavor is based on white chocolate, topped with plenty of crushed OREO cookies. The visual effect is super eye-catching, and the texture is layered with a crispy outside and soft inside. The biggest surprise was the Pistachio flavor, which has a slightly salty nutty taste paired with a soft donut base. It’s not overly rich, but rather addictive the more you eat.

Besides donuts, the shop also offers various drinks from Takagi Coffee. I paired my donuts with an iced latte, which was rich and smooth, perfectly complementing the sweetness of the donuts. The seating area inside is bright and spacious, with a round table surrounded by green plants, creating a relaxing and cozy atmosphere.

Overall, We Love Donut is not just a donut shop but more like a concept space where dessert and design blend together. Whether it’s the appearance, the selection, or the taste, you can feel the care put into everything. If you love donuts, you definitely can’t miss this little shop full of love and creativity on your next trip to Osaka!
