Osaka

Review of Osaka…
A city that melts your heart like mochi with a gooey filling when bitten into 🍡💘

If there’s any city that feels as soft as a feather pillow and warms your heart, Osaka is that city! From the first time I planned the trip, my heart swelled like a child receiving a gift 🎁 I don’t know why exactly.
Just hearing the word “Osaka” makes me feel it’s full of fun, cuteness, and delicious food that doesn’t care about your waistline 🐙🍜

The atmosphere when walking out of the airport was amazingggg.
Cool breeze, clear sky, the scent of Japan floating in the air.
Japanese people dressed kawaii, smiling, and kind just like in anime 🚄💕

As soon as I entered the city, the wow factor started immediately. The streets were clean, shops lined both sides of the road, each decorated so adorably that I wanted to go into every single one!
The first spot we went to was Shinsaibashi & Dotonbori~
This place is heaven for shoppers, foodies, and photo lovers!

We walked until our feet were tired but our spirits stayed strong because everything was lively and cute.
Shops lined up with no gaps to rest your eyes, including clothing stores, cafes, very Japanese brands, toys, gachapon, and cute little things everywhere~ And of course, we couldn’t miss taking a photo with the Glico sign, the runner with raised hands, posing the same way to get a picture captioned “I’ve arrived in Osaka!” 😆📸

The food around there was amazing! Starting with takoyaki, round balls filled with lots of squid, hot from the grill, drizzled with sweet and salty sauce, sprinkled with dancing bonito flakes on top that were so cute it made my heart melt. Eating it was pure bliss, so delicious I had to have seconds~ Then there’s okonomiyaki, like a Japanese pizza, crispy on the outside, soft inside, rich in flavor, chewing it made me smile like flowers blooming in my mouth 🥰🌸

I loved walking along the Dotonbori river~ The atmosphere was great, cool breeze, gentle sound of flowing water, perfect for slow walks with no destination. Sometimes just standing and watching boats pass by made me happy 🌊🛶

Another place I really loved was Osaka Castle 💚 It felt like stepping into a fairy tale, with big trees, beautiful gardens, and great views. Anyone renting a yukata to walk around here fits perfectly. I didn’t miss out either~ Wearing a sweet cherry blossom patterned outfit, hair tied in a light bun, walking and taking photos like a heroine in a Japanese drama 🎎🍃 People passing by smiled and said “Kawaii!” which made my heart flutter~

Then came the highlight day! We went to Universal Studios Japan (USJ)~ I have to say it was beyond exciting! Walking into the Harry Potter zone, I couldn’t stop saying wow. Hogwarts Castle was huge and magnificent, with the three broomsticks shop, butterbeer, and magical sounds floating in the air 🧙‍♀️✨

Then we walked to the other side, Super Nintendo World, a zone that felt like stepping into a game! Green pipes, coin blocks, Mario, stompable mushrooms, everything was complete~ So fun I wanted to try every ride 🎮🍄

Along the way, we stopped at a cute cafe serving desserts on plates with cat patterns! Soft, melt-in-your-mouth cake, and coffee with a true Japanese aroma, perfect for resting our feet, recharging, and chatting with friends about how “Osaka is just too cute!” ☕🐾

We spent the evening walking small alleys full of traditional sweets shops. Mochi balls with soft dough and red bean filling, warm and melting in the mouth… It was like a small happiness that’s too delightful to describe 🍡🥹

Before leaving, we stopped by 100 yen shops and Don Quijote~ Preparing souvenirs for friends in Thailand, including Japanese snacks, tiny cute items, keychains, sushi-patterned chopsticks, bear socks, and my favorite, a big pack of face masks with cat patterns 🐱🛍️

The feeling after finishing the trip was… “Why do I have to go back already?” 😭
Osaka made me feel like I stepped into a dream world, a feel like walking in cuteness you can touch. It’s not a big chaotic city, but warm, cute, playful, and very delicious!

In short: Osaka is a city that once you come, you’ll want to come back as soon as your plane lands in Thailand 💖
A city that makes you feel… life has so much cuteness to chase after 🍥✨
