The Imperial Hotel Osaka is a long-established luxury hotel in Japan with a rich history. Fortunately, it is well-maintained, allowing guests to experience a nostalgic old-money charm from another era. It withstands changes in aesthetic trends, so those who appreciate classics, value service, and attention to detail might like it. However, seeing every staff member bow to you at a 90-degree angle can feel a bit unusual.

The hotel provides bath and body products with a very pleasant fragrance, as well as a skincare set (I didn’t take a photo, but it looks like a French brand), showing great care.

The hotel upgraded my room for free; I stayed in a park suite. The room was very spacious, with a view facing a river. I quite liked that river. During cherry blossom season, the riverside is lined with cherry trees in full bloom, perfect for morning runs or walks.

As for the hotel breakfast, there are several floors with dining options including Western, Japanese, and buffet styles. I chose the Japanese breakfast, but it was quite ordinary and not to my taste, so I only ate a few bites.

Overall, the comfort level was good, mainly because of the convenient location. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to Umeda Station, making it easy to transfer to the subway to the airport. It is very suitable for family trips. Highly recommended.
