A Must-Stay in Osaka Namba! Real Experience at Caption by Hyatt Hotel

I only stayed at this Hyatt, the only one in Osaka, because of the Global Traveler Challenge, and unexpectedly found a gem! Caption by Hyatt is located in the golden area of Namba, just an 8-minute walk to City Department Store and Takashimaya, making it easy to shop for great Japanese brands like Montebell; Nankai Namba Station is right nearby, and taking the "Ninja" express train straight to the airport is super convenient (my Iron Train Hero DNA was activated 🚄)! Shinsaibashi is also just a 20-minute walk away. We took the subway going there and strolled back while shopping, even running into Pop Mart on the way. Although I didn’t restock Labubu, it was a very pleasant walk and photo op~

The rooms are compact but brand new and fully equipped, offering a very comfortable stay! Breakfast is made to order, freshly prepared on the spot. The curry pork cutlet rice is crispy and flavorful, the beef is tender and juicy, and the seafood sashimi is fresh, sweet, and bouncy! However, note that free options are limited, and even a latte costs an extra 100 yen~ Also, the washing machine is very popular, so remember to book in advance!

I must highly praise two thoughtful services: first, when booking with points, only twin rooms were left, but after requesting a preference, the hotel proactively emailed to confirm it was changed to a king bed; second, when communicating by email in advance about mailing documents, the staff not only promptly confirmed receipt and safekeeping but also handed them back immediately at check-in! Such attentive and efficient communication really boosted my impression~ Next time I come to Osaka, I will definitely stay here again!
