While touring the Osaka Expo with little waiting, I reflect on the 【Appeal of the Expo】

Philippines had a wait ⦿ The weaving exhibit was magnificent.⁡
Mozambique had no wait ✕⁡

Commons A had no wait ◯ Last time it was D, but there are about twice as many people now.⁡
The content mostly features Africa and Central America, and personally, I preferred D. Coffee from Burundi was sold. There were only 1-2 shops selling miscellaneous goods, fewer than at D.⁡

Went to see Myakumyaku sitting in seiza.⁡

Saudi Arabia, a popular pavilion with a longer wait ⦿ (I stayed in Dubai, so it felt familiar and good)⁡
The hospitality coffee brewing show was said to start "soon," but it turned out to be "soon" in local time 😂 I waited sitting quite a while. You can skip it if you want.⁡
Apparently, the projection mapping and live music at night are better.⁡

Bangladesh had no wait ⦿ Despite being a medium-sized exhibit, it was fun to see handcrafted items like woven bags and dresses 💖 There was also a 2-minute video.⁡

Chile had no wait △ Medium size. Display of thick woven fabrics with geometric patterns.⁡

From 6:00 PM, Turkmenistan had a 20-minute wait ⦿⁡
It was already in the shade, which was a relief. However, the line moves quite a bit, so sitting on the ground is not suitable ✕⁡
The air conditioning was strong. The restaurant terrace only served three types of fried sweets and drinks until evening. It had a nice exotic atmosphere.⁡
I was happy to see countries I probably wouldn’t visit. It had a slightly strange feeling unique to dictatorships and developing countries.⁡
Simple ethnic costume try-ons and photos were allowed (first photo).⁡

Portugal’s egg tart ◎ About a 20-minute wait? Last time it sold out just before my turn, so this was my revenge! Took it home. It’s delicious when chilled 😋⁡

Malta’s restaurant had no wait ◎ Rabbit meat pasta, octopus pasta. Local beer.⁡

In front of the West Gate, JR × Expo official shop ⦿⁡
I’m not very fond of the wide-open-eyed Myakumyaku, so I looked for smiling, sleeping, or split Myakumyaku, but there were very few 💦⁡
But there are many collaborations with ICOCA 🎶⁡
Inside the box of a sweet called Mochimaro, there were unexpectedly various Myakumyaku stickers 🔵🔴⁡
Postcards and stickers weren’t sold, so this was a pleasant surprise!⁡

I feel like the Expo is often more enjoyable gradually after seeing it rather than while watching it 😄⁡
I’m not good at standing, and it’s crowded, so I don’t have much leeway at the time,⁡
but maybe it’s because I feel like traveling to that country beyond the pavilion.⁡
The unique sense of the extraordinary and the unity among all visitors is also nice.⁡
It feels like a cultural festival similar to a summer festival or sports event.⁡
It’s also like watching the Olympic opening ceremony 🎊⁡
