Review of a cute trip to Osaka:
A city so warm at heart that you want to stop time right here for a long time 🧸🍙✨
For us, "Osaka" is a city that’s not too hectic to be exhausting,
but not too quiet to be lonely either. It’s a city full of color,
cuteness, delicious food, and the warmth of its people, perfectly blended together,
making this Japan trip a memory we want to smile at often 🥹🇯🇵
Traveling to Osaka is very easy because there are direct flights from Bangkok to Kansai International Airport.
Once you land, you can take the train straight into the city, very convenient.
There are also plenty of tourist passes to choose from, like the Osaka Amazing Pass or Kansai Thru Pass,
which help save a lot on transportation costs 🚃💳
The first thing we fell in love with about Osaka is the "weather."
No matter the season, it has its own charm. In spring, cherry blossoms bloom fully in pastel pink,
so cute it feels like stepping into a cartoon 🌸
In autumn, red-orange maple leaves fall like a natural carpet,
making walking around feel lightly romantic 🍁
The first place we want to recommend is "Osaka Castle."
It’s a city landmark that everyone must visit. The castle is stunningly beautiful,
even when we went during a flowerless season, we still enjoyed taking photos a lot
because just the white and gold structure with the surrounding garden is magnificent 🏯
Inside the castle, there’s also a small museum where you can learn about Osaka’s history.
Next is the area we screamed the most about on this trip… “Dotonbori.”
Yes! This place is a paradise for food lovers and photo enthusiasts alike.
Every corner is filled with lights and big restaurant signs like the giant crab, takoyaki dolls, or the legendary Glico sign 🌟🎌
Photos come out super stylish, and the food is delicious everywhere.
Crispy outside, soft inside takoyaki, and the okonomiyaki smells amazing. Eating here made us smile nonstop 🐙🍢🍜
Another Osaka spot we want you to experience is the “Shinsaibashi” area,
full of shops, cute cafes, and trendy Japanese fashion. It’s so fun to walk around here.
Just holding shopping bags makes you feel lively. When tired, you can stop for tea at a small cafe decorated in a Japanese-minimalist style,
like being inside Pinterest 🍵🛍️✨
We also secretly escaped the hustle and bustle to relax at “Tennoji Park.”
It’s a large public park with a traditional Japanese garden, a small zoo, and a quiet shrine,
giving the feeling that Osaka is embracing us with peace and shade 🍃🕊️💕
And if you have more time, don’t miss “Universal Studios Japan.”
This place is a world of imagination that both kids and adults will love,
especially the Harry Potter zone, which feels like stepping right into the movie!
Walking through Hogsmeade village while sipping butterbeer is the best 🎢⚡🧙♀️
Food is another heart of Osaka that made us fall in love and not want to leave 😋
Besides takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and kushikatsu we mentioned,
there are many sweets like silky Japanese pudding, Japanese-style bubble tea, and fresh crepes wrapped with soft cream and fresh fruit 🍮🍓🧋
The people here are also very lovely, friendly, smiling a lot,
speaking a little English but trying to communicate warmly with us.
One day, when we got a little lost, an elderly lady helped walk us to the bus stop even though she was going past it.
This kindness is what makes Osaka feel like another warm home 🏡💗
For accommodation, we chose a cute hostel near the train station,
very convenient for travel, and the room was super clean.
Perfect for those who want to save money but still want that cute Japanese vibe,
and Osaka has plenty of options like this 🛏️🧼✨
Although Osaka is not the capital of Japan, for us,
Osaka is the heart of this trip’s journey. It has so much more than just “tourism.”
It’s a city that makes us feel that
“coming here is like finding back the little happiness
that was once lost” 🌈🧳
For anyone who has never been to Osaka, we want you to try experiencing it once.
This city might not astonish you, but it will warm your heart like hugging something you’ve missed for a long time 💞🇯🇵🍃
