Review of traveling in Osaka: A city that melts your heart with smiles and deliciousness 🇯🇵

Osaka… a city full of color and fun
that makes many hearts swell every time they visit.
This time, I had the chance to experience this city myself and want to share the cute, bright, and impressive stories I encountered every day of this trip.

The first step at Kansai Airport… the gateway to a new world

Upon arriving at Kansai Airport,
the first thing that made me feel good was the cleanliness and orderliness here, along with the warm service from the very first step off the plane.
I felt very excited because not only is it easy to travel into the city, but it also felt like a warm welcome.

Just grab an ICOCA card and tap it to take the train to the heart of Osaka comfortably. Traveling is very convenient,
making me feel relaxed and ready to explore the city immediately.

Dotonbori, the district that never sleeps and is full of deliciousness

Dotonbori is the representative of Osaka that everyone must visit.
It’s full of neon lights, the famous Glico Man sign, and a lively atmosphere all day long.

The highlight is the wide variety of local food.
I was hooked on the hot, round “Takoyaki” filled with big pieces of fresh octopus, slightly crispy on the outside, topped with special sauce and mayonnaise.
The aroma of flying dried fish flakes is an irresistible flavor.

Another equally impressive dish is “Okonomiyaki,”
or Japanese pizza, which is very delicious. Soft batter mixed with cabbage and pork,
topped with sweet and savory sauce, a harmonious taste that melts your heart with every bite.

Walking through the alleys, I also found fresh sushi at small shops,
which were warm and full of the sellers’ smiles.

Universal Studios Japan, a magical amusement park everyone must love

USJ is a wonderland that made me feel like a kid again. The Harry Potter zone creates a truly magical atmosphere. The huge Hogwarts castle and Hogsmeade village are full of charming little details, and the Butterbeer is sweet and smooth with every sip.

Additionally, Minion Park is full of bright colors and cuteness,
and the Super Nintendo World zone makes you feel like you’re really playing a game, with exciting rides and fun activities all day long.

Although there were some queues for rides,
the fun and smiles I got were truly worth it.

Ultimate shopping at Shinsaibashi and Tenjinbashi-suji

Shinsaibashi and Tenjinbashi-suji streets are the longest and busiest shopping streets in Japan. They are full of trendy fashion stores, cute cafes, and a variety of souvenirs.

I enjoyed strolling and picking out cute stationery, sweet-patterned notebooks, and adorable fashion clothes that suit every style.

The surrounding atmosphere was warm and friendly, making me lose track of time while walking around.

Osaka is a city full of cute themed cafes,
from cat cafes and dessert cafes to fragrant matcha green tea spots.

I loved sipping hot green tea with beautifully decorated parfait desserts that looked like art. It felt like relaxing at a friend’s house who loves cuteness and making sweets.

Osaka Castle is a spot I didn’t miss visiting, with its beautiful architecture and the shady surrounding gardens.

Walking and taking photos in the peaceful atmosphere
was a moment that made my heart relax even more, especially during cherry blossom season or the stunning autumn foliage that looks like a painting.

Kuromon Market is a paradise for seafood lovers, with grilled scallops, fresh sashimi, and many snacks.

Walking and tasting in the lively and friendly atmosphere
felt like strolling in a friend’s home full of delicious food.

Umeda Sky Building is a viewpoint offering a 360-degree view
of Osaka, especially at night when the city lights sparkle like stars.

Walking on the sky bridge with cool breezes
was an incredibly impressive experience.

Just tap the card to board the train, with clear English signs and helpful staff, making travel convenient and worry-free about getting lost.

Osaka people are lovely and very friendly. Even if their English isn’t fluent,
everyone tries to help with smiles and kindness,
making me feel like I made new friends abroad.

and cute stationery from Don Quijote or Loft.
