Enjoy the midsummer Osaka Expo!

If you want to fully enjoy the midsummer Osaka Expo in one day, the key is to prepare for the heat and move efficiently.

Essential items to bring:
• At least one frozen drink per person (a must while waiting to enter in the morning)
• Parasol (rental is available, but having your own is convenient)
• Cooling towel or portable fan
• Oral rehydration solution or salt tablets
• Avoid black clothes; wear bright, quick-drying fabrics
• Folding chair (very useful during long waits)

Tips for a comfortable visit:
• The toughest part is waiting to enter in the morning. Lower your body temperature with frozen drinks and secure shade while waiting.
• Take breaks in air-conditioned areas like the Commons Hall or indoor facilities between pavilion visits to conserve energy.
• For meals, use the air-conditioned indoor food courts. If you want good value and time efficiency, the restaurants at the Serbia and Tunisia pavilions are especially recommended.

After 6 p.m., the crowd starts to thin, making it easier to move around.
There’s also a hidden spot just outside the East Gate where you can enjoy beautiful fireworks over the Expo site, perfect for ending your day.

With proper preparation, adults can comfortably enjoy the Osaka Expo from morning till night even in midsummer.

By the way, my favorites were:
・China Pavilion
・Earth Smart
・Dynamic Equilibrium of Life Pavilion
Be sure to check them out✨
