[Sumitomo Pavilion|Osaka Expo 2025]

With the theme of "Circulation," the Sumitomo Pavilion uses a blend of nature and technology in its exhibits to invite us to reflect on how future societies can coexist with the Earth 🌱. The exterior walls are made from Fukushima timber, combined with modern architectural lines, giving the facade a simple yet meaningful appearance.

Inside, the paper-cut forest light and shadow space is stunning, with lighting creating dynamic layers that offer a dreamlike immersive experience. Along the way, there are simulated animal displays, such as adorable raccoons appearing in the forest soil, making visitors feel as if they have entered a quiet and profound natural journey 🦝.

The latter part of the pavilion showcases Sumitomo Group’s achievements in urban infrastructure, energy development, healthcare, and environmental innovation. A large, colorful display wall clearly presents various projects and concepts, combining education and entertainment with visual impact.

📌 Notes: The pavilion visit takes about 65 minutes and mainly operates on a "reservation-only" basis, though walk-in slots are occasionally available. If you don’t have a reservation, it’s recommended to arrive early and pay attention to staff announcements or on-site boards 📋.
