Portugal Pavilion at the Kansai Expo in Osaka

#SeptemberGoodPlaces2025
The museum's unique rope design is a major feature. Designed by architect Kengo Kuma, it utilizes recycled fishing nets and ropes to create a wave-like image of light and shadow, recreating the glory of Portugal's maritime empire. Regular concerts are held in front of the pavilion.
The museum focuses on immersive VR projection experiences, integrating AI technology with art through visual projections and interactive installations. This combined experience explores the connection between the ocean and life, offering a moment of reflection. While the museum isn't particularly interactive, there's no need to queue early in the morning or near closing time. The food, including the wine and egg tarts, is excellent.
