Recently, I visited the Japan Pavilion at the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025. The circular building, adorned with wooden panels and glass, exudes a blend of traditional Japanese tranquility and futuristic lightness, making the architecture itself feel like part of the exhibition.
The exhibition is themed around 'circulation,' with three areas: Plant, Farm, and Factory. It was inspiring to see how traditional materials and cutting-edge technology seamlessly connect with nature.
However, the long waiting time was a downside, and I felt it could have been a more comfortable experience with smoother entry. Overall, it was a memorable experience that allowed me to reflect on 'What is Japan?' through all five senses.
