At the Osaka City Nagai Botanical Garden located within Nagai Park, the Moso Bamboo Walk-Through Area is currently open to the public.

September 18 is World Bamboo Day
In celebration of World Bamboo Day (an international awareness day to promote understanding of the value of bamboo), the "Bamboo and Sasa Specimen Garden" is offering a rare opportunity to closely observe Moso Bamboo in the "Walk-Through Area."

This is a precious chance to experience the hidden, serene beauty of Japan that is often overlooked despite being so close to us. Within the Bamboo and Sasa Specimen Garden, there are photo spots featuring wind chimes and traditional Japanese umbrellas, perfectly complementing the Japanese atmosphere. Be sure to visit during this special occasion.

Event Period: Thursday, September 18, 2025 – Monday, November 24, 2025
Photo spots are scheduled to be available until the end of October.
