Bounded by Wenfeng Road to the east, Qiyi Road to the south, the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway to the west, and Bayi Road to the north, the city covers approximately 3.9 square kilometers. Its core area encompasses 1.87 square kilometers within the moat.
The ancient city of Cao Wei is divided into two major areas, the core area and the coordination area, by the moat, forming an overall functional division of "one axis, one ring and six areas".
The "one axis" is centered around historical and cultural sites such as the Spring and Autumn Tower and Cao Cao's Mansion, forming a 1.3-kilometer-long Cao Wei central axis running through the north and south; the "one ring" is based on water, relying on the built moat's ecological landscape resources to create a 5.3-kilometer-long Cao Wei style belt around the moat; the "six districts" are the folk culture district, the ancient charm living district, the cultural and leisure living district, the characteristic waterfront living district, the style and appearance coordinated livable district, and the gateway characteristic commercial district.
