Osaka Umeda Kushikatsu Tanuki in Daiichi Building

I decided to visit Tanuki in Umeda Daiichi Building, a place I had been wanting to try for a quick drink and bite. Since I arrived at the opening time of 5 PM, it was still relatively empty.

The prices are incredibly cheap! Haha

For drinks, I chose beer and lime chu-hi, and for the side dish, I picked doteni (stewed beef and miso dish). The chef's choice skewers that day included pork, yam, eggplant, and two others I can't recall.

Another set of 5 kushikatsu skewers, which included shrimp, beef harami, pork, quail sausage, and lotus root, was priced at an astonishingly low 700 yen. The batter was thin and lightly fried, making it very enjoyable.

Even with a few extras, the total came to around 2,000 yen, making this an incredibly affordable spot.
