Osaka's cherry blossom viewing hotspot - Kema Sakuranomiya Park
If you visit Osaka during the cherry blossom season, this should be your first sightseeing spot. Kema Sakuranomiya Park stretches for more than 4 kilometers along a small river, and the riverbanks are lined with rows of cherry blossom trees. Every spring, locals flock to the park to enjoy the flowers, and the beautiful scenery and mild weather in April make this the perfect place for a picnic or a stroll.
The ideal walking route is to exit Sakuranomiya Station and head toward Osaka Castle, where you can enjoy a stroll of several kilometers. The entire journey takes approximately 40 minutes.
Kema Sakuranomiya Park, located next to the Osaka Mint, combines riverbanks, beaches, and green spaces. Many people come here to walk, walk their dogs, run, or ride bicycles. The river bank from the downstream of the Maomashi Weir to Tenmanbashi Bridge, about 4.2 kilometers long, is planted with about 4,700 cherry trees. Therefore, during the cherry blossom season, this place always attracts many people to come and enjoy the cherry blossoms and take pictures. You can also take pictures of cherry blossoms, JR trains, or Osaka Castle, which is very touching and beautiful!
Walking along the bridge, I saw many people walking in the park and admiring the cherry blossoms below.
The green buds of spring plants and the pink cherry blossoms are so beautiful.
Thanks to the sunshine, the cherry blossoms look even more like sparkling gems.
Since this cherry tree is closer to the bridge, it attracted many people to come and take pictures.
Indeed, pink cherry blossoms and blue sky, who would want to miss such a perfect combination?
