Have you heard of Oshino Hakkai?

Oshino Hakkai is the collective name for eight highly transparent spring-fed ponds where meltwater from Mt. Fuji rises. The sparkling blue water reflects Mt. Fuji beautifully, creating a beautiful and mysterious scene. Many people visit from all over Japan and abroad to see this view.

Oshino Hakkai is designated as a national natural monument and has been selected as one of Japan's 100 famous waters. Anyone can drink the water for free, and you can even bottle it and take it home!

Among them, the most recommended are
○Wakuike
It boasts the largest amount of spring water among the eight ponds, and is also deep.

Therefore, you can enjoy the deep blue color of the pond, and the contrast with the colorful carp swimming in it is very beautiful.

○Kagamiike
In contrast to Wakuike, this pond has a small amount of spring water and the water surface is always calm. Therefore, Mt. Fuji is beautifully reflected on the water surface like a mirror, and you can see Mt. Fuji upside down along with Mt. Fuji.
