May 21 & 22, 2023 🇯🇵 Hita Pilgrimage
📍May 21: Attack on Titan Museum 👉🏻 Attack on Titan Statue 👉🏻 Attack on Titan Museum ANNEX
Today, we visited the hometown of Hajime Isayama, the creator of Attack on Titan! Driving is more convenient for getting around, and I highly recommend visiting both museums. If you purchase tickets for both museums together, you'll get a discount.
The colossal Titan statue at the dam is truly impressive when seen in person! Standing before the towering dam walls feels like stepping into the storyline ("That day, humanity remembered the fear of being dominated by Titans.") 🥺 It's absolutely breathtaking!
📍May 22: Buy charms at Ohara Hachiman Shrine 👉🏻 Hita Shopping Street
In the morning, we first stopped by the tourist center near Hita Station to shop for Attack on Titan merchandise 😍. At Ohara Hachiman Shrine, we bought Attack on Titan-themed charms, priced at 2,000 yen each—not cheap, but definitely worth it ❤️.
Hita Shopping Street feels like a mini Kyoto, and some stores even offer collaborative merchandise featuring Attack on Titan characters.
Hita is truly amazing! You can find traces of Titan characters everywhere. If you're a fan of Attack on Titan, this is a must-visit destination! You won't regret it ❤️
