Oshino Hakkai Village
This small, traditional Japanese village is located between Lake Kawaguchiko and Mount Fuji in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. Its highlight is its eight sacred ponds, so pure you can see the bottom. These ponds are formed by meltwater from Mount Fuji that has seeped through layers of lava over decades. The village also boasts a variety of local shops and restaurants selling a variety of goods.
