This new and much-talked-about private art museum opened in 2023. Based on the concept of "seeing art within art," the museum's mirror-like exterior, designed by architect Shigeru Ban, and its colorful, movable exhibition rooms floating on the sea create a spectacular sight. The museum displays a diverse collection of approximately 500 pieces, including glass art by Emile Gallé, Hina dolls, Pissarro, Matisse, Chagall, and masterpieces of Japanese painting. In 2024, it received the Prix de Versailles award for being "the most beautiful art museum in the world."
