👍 A place where you can feel the past and present of Otaru at the same time, with historical buildings and traditional shops gathered together.

✔️ Otaru's Sakaimachi Street is a really charming place. The street is well-preserved with buildings from the Meiji and Taisho periods, and there are many traditional Japanese shops, so it felt like I had traveled back in time. There were various souvenir shops and traditional restaurants, so it was fun to look around. In particular, there were many famous Otaru sweets shops, so it was great to enjoy sweet desserts. If you visit Otaru, Sakaimachi Street is a must-visit place.
