Otaru is about 30 minutes by train from Sapporo!
It's a small city, but it has a lot of charm hidden within, so you can enjoy a full day full of activities!

After arriving at Otaru Station, try some sushi first, then visit the Music Box Museum, admire the steam clock tower, and then head to the LeTAO cafe for some cheesecake! LeTAO's lines can be incredibly long, so you can get a ticket and browse the shops on the first floor while you wait!

A trip to the Otaru Canal before heading home in the evening is truly romantic. 🤍
