Masazushi, a sushi restaurant in Otaru that I visited while traveling in Japan

Otaru Masazushi is considered the best sushi in Japan, the 'country of sushi'. If you come to Otaru, go to 'Sushiya-dori (壽司屋通り)' where about 100 sushi restaurants are gathered. The price varies slightly from restaurant to restaurant, but the average is about 2,000 yen per person (conveyor belt sushi restaurants are cheaper). Among the many sushiya-dori restaurants, Otaru Masazushi has a history of about 70 years, passed down through three generations. There are four branches in Hokkaido, and you can enjoy a course meal with 10 kinds of sushi for about 2,800 yen.
