Biwako Valley Ski Resort

Biwako Valley Ski Resort is located in Shiga Prefecture, just an hour away from Osaka. It's easily accessible via JR train by transferring at Kyoto Station and heading to Shiga Station. Upon arrival at Shiga Station, there is a shuttle bus waiting to take you to the resort. This destination is perfect for a one-day trip. On the day of our visit, the weather was clear and pleasant. At the top, sleds are available for rent at 500 yen per hour, which you can rent and enjoy right away. The ropeway operates from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, but it's recommended to check the schedule on the official website for confirmation.
