Where the 2 Koreas are divided. Lots of history here

A unique experience you cannot duplicate anywhere else in the world. A sad part of history with a separated people who would love to reunite.

There are a number of attractions on this site that I've grouped together under this review. You have the DMZ third tunnel, well worth the visit, but a challenging underground walk to near the border with N Korea, particularly if you're over 6 ft, you need to stoop.

Then you have the freedom bridge, the shot-up steam engine, the memorial to the American soldiers who died in the Korean war, and a memorial to the Korean "comfort" women used by the Japanese for their entertainment

Overall it a fantastic experience and you not able to take pictures in most of the area and a guide is necessary for this tour
