[Cebu, Philippines] Stunning Retro Resort Amarela Resort

Amarela Resort, located on Panglao Island in Cebu, features a seahorse-themed design throughout. With pale yellow walls, wooden accents, and traditional furnishings, it exudes a warm, retro feel.

The rooms face the ocean on two sides, and the sunlight filtering through the gauzy curtains in the morning makes it so comfortable that you won't even want to leave.

The resort has its own beach, pool, and lounge, offering board games for guests to relax and play, so you can stay all day. 🤣
Oh, and yes, the hotel offers a free shuttle from the port to the resort. This time, it was just me and my friend on the shuttle. The driver, speaking Filipino English, was incredibly welcoming, sharing local food and interesting stories with us. They also offered a ride back to the port, which was very convenient. 👍

Also, I didn't mention breakfast on my reservation, so I paid for both days. If you're planning a trip, be sure to check if any hotels offer free breakfast!
