The White Heart of Paris, Sacré-Cœur Basilica

When I arrived at Montmartre, the dazzlingly white Sacré-Cœur Basilica looked as if it were floating in the sky. Standing in front of the basilica, I could see the entire city of Paris at a glance. The Eiffel Tower, the Seine River, and the rows of Parisian rooftops were all visible. From the hilltop, Paris appeared like a painting.

Inside the basilica, it was far more serene and peaceful than outside. Under the large dome, candles flickered gently, and the golden mosaic on the central ceiling was breathtakingly beautiful. I sat silently on a bench for a while, soaking in the atmosphere.

On the steps in front of the basilica, someone was playing the guitar and singing. The gentle melody seemed to wrap around the hill, and I waited for the sunset while listening to the music. When the sunset painted the Parisian rooftops in shades of red, it warmed my heart.

Sacré-Cœur was not just a tourist spot. It was a place to rest your soul and a place that made me fall even more in love with the city of Paris.
