[France] Paris, Musee d'Orsay

#SummerCampaign

It's located diagonally across the Seine from the Louvre.
This building, characterized by its large clock, was built as a long-distance train terminal during the 1900 Paris World's Fair. In 1986, it was transformed into a museum for Impressionist paintings.
As a result, traces of its former station, such as the large clock and the domed, semi-cylindrical ceiling, remain throughout.
The museum houses approximately 70,000 artworks from the 19th and early 20th centuries, with approximately 4,000 permanently on display, primarily featuring Impressionist works that were previously exhibited at the Jeu de Paume Museum, an annex to the Louvre.
You can view famous masterpieces such as Monet's "Water Lilies," Van Gogh's "Self-Portrait," and Millet's "Gleaners."
With many familiar works, this is a museum that anyone can enjoy.
