Step into the storybook heart of Paris with a wondrous family visit to Cathédrale Notre-Dame! Marvel at stunning Gothic architecture, intricate stained glass, and the playful gargoyles set high on the towers—little ones can turn sightseeing into a “monster-spotting” adventure.

For a smooth day out, arrive early—doors open at 7:50 AM (or 8:15 on weekends) and evenings on Thursdays can be magical thanks to late hours (till 10 PM). Booking tickets online in advance was a lifesaver for our family, letting us skip those looong queues and avoid toddler grumpiness! Don’t miss snapping a classic family photo outside on the Parvis with the façade’s soaring towers, or set your toddler by the riverside for a cute shot with Notre-Dame in the background.

Once inside, let little explorers gaze at the colorful Rose Windows and spot story scenes in the glass. The nave is stroller-friendly, but if you’re climbing the towers (not recommended with a toddler!), pack lightly and be ready for lots of steps. Restrooms are outside the main entrance—plan a quick break before you go in.

Bring a few small snacks, as there’s limited food nearby and Parisian meal times can catch you off-guard with kids. The square outside is perfect for a breather before or after your visit.
