📖The origin of the name and legend
The name "Tiger's Nest" comes from the legend that the great Buddhist guru Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) flew to this place on the back of a tiger and meditated there.
The current temple was then built in the 17th century to surround the meditation cave.

It takes about 2 to 3 hours of trekking to reach the temple, but at the end of the steep path, you will see a temple in the sky.
