We visited the stone-paved road in Kinjo-cho, Shuri.
The stone-paved road is a designated cultural asset of Okinawa Prefecture, and it is very tasteful, allowing us to feel the Shuri townscape first-hand.
It used to be a road leading to Shuri Castle. Walking along the road after learning about Okinawa's history was a whole different experience.
You can cool off a little under the banyan tree along the way and feel the breeze. It's very peaceful, and you can feel the pleasant time.
The road is basically a slope, so please be careful of heatstroke if you are not confident in your physical strength or if the temperature is high.
