Starting in El Calafate, I stood in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier, completely awed. The cracking ice echoed across the water like thunder. A few days later in El Chaltén, I hiked through endless trails framed by snow peaks, with Fitz Roy towering in the distance. Patagonia felt raw, untouched — like nature showing off its purest form.
