A nice hotel with a main building with lobby (with beautiful orchids all over) and sea facing rooms, and then a walk over a bridge that passes over the city sewer canal to the other garden facing rooms. Due to this sewer canal the pool area and garden rooms had a continuous pervasive sewer smell. To avoid this bridge the hotel has a buggy service from the lobby to the garden rooms. The breakfast was nice with a large choice of continental, Indian and Thai breakfast, eggs to order, freshly cut fruit, breads, salads, pastries, sushi etc. the staff are friendly, courteous and eager to help. Beware some rooms described as garden facing actual have a balcony that ends in approx 14ft wall. They don't have free ice and the quality of the free toiletries need improvement. The WiFi signal was poor and after many complaints they somehow improved it. The hotel is on a huge property facing the sea at the beginning of Walking Street. Lots of night clubs, restaurants, massage places right next door.
Songthaews (tuktuks) easily available for just 10bahts a person. The property is nice with lots of trees. They also have a tennis court, pool and health club. The beach is within walking distance. The hotel is right next to the Bali Hi pier to take ferry to Coral Island.
