A must-do in your life is to go snowboarding with its stunning views. This ski resort isn't just for skiing, it's also a place to visit for photos. The unique snow formations form into monsters, known as "Snow Monsters." There are only a few places in the world where you can see snow covering trees in the shape of monsters.

You can take the cable car to the top for a stunning view. It was so cold that my hands were sore. I almost had to rush inside after just a few minutes of standing outside in the wind. Even more challenging was skiing or snowboarding from the top and slowly sliding down the Monster Forest. It sounded like a really cool experience for my trip to Japan.

As a beginner, I tried to take the green route and slowly snowboard down the trail, stopping at every Monster Forest to admire the stunning views and take some unusual photos. Whether you're looking for a ski resort or just learning to ski, Zao Onsen is a must-visit.

And finally, soak in an onsen, truly a true hot spring destination, in the freezing cold. It's incredibly relaxing. Sipping on some warm tea isn't bad either.
