InterContinental Pattaya

Breakfast at the InterContinental Pattaya is served buffet-style at Elements Restaurant, offering a wide variety of dishes, including slaw, freshly made egg dishes, bread, cakes, hot dishes, bread, yogurt, fruit, and freshly cooked noodles. There are also Thai specialties like fried bananas, mango sticky rice, and steamed bread with Thai milk or pandan sauce. What really stood out to me was the four pots of curry-like dishes, along with rice noodles, each with a different flavor. I'm not sure if they're only available on holidays; I saw them on Sunday the first day I tried them, but not on Monday. I tried two of the flavors, and they were both delicious. I don't know if it was because we were foreigners, but the staff noticed I chose the spicy version and kept telling me it was spicy, urging me to try the milder version.

The mango sticky rice was also delicious. The rice had a jasmine fragrance, paired with just the right amount of sweetness from the coconut milk, and paired with the delicious mango. I was worried the sticky rice would cause bloating, but after just one bite, I was hooked on the all-you-can-eat mango.
